Discover an empowering tale of tragedy and triumph. After overcoming my own health challenges, I dedicated my life to helping folks merge and reap the benefits of both conventional and non-traditional medicine. Through my writing, my film work, and speaking and coaching sessions, I strive to help people gain new insights, shift their perspectives, and overcome even the most trying obstacles.
As a seasoned writer and survivor of chronic health struggles, I strive to motivate people to take back their lives and overcome adversity. Over the years, I've encountered a whole host of health issues – including five battles with cancer and a heart valve procedure – which I largely attribute to mercury poisoning from faulty dental fillings. After overcoming these obstacles through wellness practices and self-determination, I strive to help others address their own struggles.
Before shifting my focus and working as a wellness and empowerment coach, I worked as a television writer and award-winning producer. Using these skills, I turned my story of triumph into a book and documentary film called "U Gotta Wanna," which details my medical challenges and the methods I used to take back my health for good.
Wellness Coach & Public Speaker
Start your journey to wellness with a coaching session or public speaking engagement. Drawing on my personal experiences and professional background as a comic and writer, I currently work as a wellness coach and public speaker with a goal of empowering audiences and helping people revolutionize their approach to health.
A five-time cancer survivor and advocate for complementary medicine, I teach folks how to merge Western and alternative medicine to address their health and wellness concerns. My story is truly harrowing and, by all accounts, I probably shouldn't still be here today. But I am, and every day is a new opportunity to share my story and outlook on life.
After battling illness for years, I believe in living life to the fullest and seizing every moment. I can't wait to share this hard-earned knowledge and perspective at your next medical conference, concert or forum.
